Join us now.  There is power in numbers, and we have the numbers! The time for families to be scattered across NYS with no connection is over! We must go from one voice fighting the system to a choir! This is where we can make it happen. Join us and sign up with your loved one. By doing this Keeping Incarcerated Individuals families united now has your contact and your loved one. If something is happening to your loved one behind the wall, ANY witness can pass that information to their own family member, the family can contact us, and we can contact you and inform you of what is happening in real time. We can help families take prompt action and assist in navigating through DOCCS murky waters. This is important because our loved ones are witnessing abuse take place but have no way of contacting the victims' family or they are the one who is being abused, but witnesses can't let their family know what's happening to them. This is POWERFUL! DOCCS is so accustomed to doing as they wish and information staying behind the wall. There will be no facility, SHU, or dorm they can place your loved one without your knowledge if we all stick together. Let's inform each other, help one another, let's give our loved one's voices a way out.
